CrossFit Queanbeyan was established in June 2011. Like most boxes starting out it was in a small room that barely had enough room to swing a midget cat, let alone handstand walk. From here we have grown in numbers and moved premises at the start of 2013.
We think a little different at CFQ, we are not about producing the best of the best. Our aim is to make you the best YOU CAN BE.
That may mean a top level athlete who’ll represent their country and if so “YAY FOR US”. However, our main intention is just to make the average person feel that they too can be a CrossFitter.
No matter what your level of experience or fitness is you will be welcome into our facility with open arms and encouragement!
We are about family, togetherness, friendship and personal performance. As much as we like competition, our focus is not aimed at those wanting to compete, but at those wanting to improve themselves across all aspects of fitness.
Here at CFQ we firmly believe that whatever your fitness goals are (strength, weight loss, weight gain, just to name a few) if you train for power any and all of these goals are achievable.
Our sessions are designed for you to achieve maximum power output in each and every class. Technique and form is paramount at CFQ, as this ensures you train without risk of injury yet maximizing the results of each training session. With each session our team of great coaches will make sure you are pushing yourself to the best of your physical and mental capabilities in a safe and correct practice.
While we don’t guarantee results we do promise that by working hard you will achieve great things!!
Our approach to training is mostly focused on the beginner as the seasoned CrossFitter can generally handle themselves.
So if you’re a newbie that needs guidance, we are there for you and we’ll provide you with the same level of coaching (if not more) than Alice ABTASTIC and Peter PECNORMAS receive.
